Hi, I read about this site in a back copy of Grazia at the hairdressers and it really struck a note with me. Last week, I spoke at a Connecting Enterprising Women event at ClubLS1 in Leeds, it’s the regional Hub for the Institute of Directors.
On the day, we heard that only 14% of women make up IoD membership in West Yorkshire – so where are all our bright women networking? I hate to admit that although I’m a member, I still find it hard to meet like-minded people with energy that are not necessarily in the corporate world (or, like me, were, but are not any more). Would love to connect with some of you. I’m on LinkedIn and Twitter – #AnjHanda.
Kath and Fiona have worked in brand communications for the past two decades, and set up their own small consultancy, Bright Stuff, in 2010. They started this blogsite and survey to connect all of those bright, cool woman who blazed a trail through school and beyond, but who, as they hit their 30s and 40s, have found new ways of defining what success means to them.
